Patrick von Braunmuehl

Patrick von Braunmühl is Senior Director Public Affairs at Bundesdruckerei. He is responsible for stakeholder management and political communication in the field of digital policy and cybersecurity. As a registered attorney at law he has over twenty years of professional experience in political and regulatory consulting in the ICT and media sectors. Before Bundesdruckerei he was Managing Director of the association Self-Regulation Information Society (SRIW) founded by Bitkom and leading companies of the ICT-sector (2012 – 2016). Earlier he worked i. a. as Senior Advisor for the German Development Agency (giz) in India (2009 – 2012), Head of Government Affairs for Cisco (2007 – 2008), Deputy Executive Director of the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (2002 – 2007), and as General Counsel for Lycos Europe (1999 – 2002).
