Under the honorary patronage of the European Signature Dialog the European Electronic Signature Forum (EFPE) will take place on 10 th of June 2021. ESD is glad to join this special event dedicated to a digital revolution.
Most attractive examples of the digital transformation in the European trust space
The European Electronic Signature and Trust Services Forum (EFPE) is the largest international conference in Europe dedicated to electronic trust services, including e-signature, as well as electronic identification and digital security. The theme of this year's edition is "E-identification and trust services as the future of the digital economy". The event will be held in the online format, and representatives of business, science and organizations supporting e-transformation from all over the world will summarize how the nearly one and a half year pandemic affected the development of paperless services.
During the speeches, interviews, and discussions, the experiences of selected sectors will be presented and the expectations and directions of development of the market for trust and e- identification services will be discussed globally. A group of experts will discuss law, business, and new technologies. The undeniable impact of digitization on both business continuity and economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as global economic development in the coming years will be discussed.
The European Electronic Signature Forum is a key event on the security and trust services market. For over 20 years we have been bringing together the world of business, government and science to exchange experience, knowledge and views. This year, for the second time, we will meet online. This form proved to be successful during the previous edition of the event and allowed for the participation of over 600 experts from 39 countries. Despite the huge challenge, we managed to connect interested listeners with experts from all over the world. We are hoping that this year EFPE will meet the expectations and give answers to our questions, especially in the era of such accelerating digital transformation– said Tomasz Litarowicz, EFPE Conference Director.
Paperless without secrets
This year EFPE returns in an even more attractive and richer online format. The upcoming edition will be held on June 10, and among the speakers are representatives from renowned Polish and international companies and organizations, such as the European Commission, ISO International Organization for Standardization (USA), ETSI European Telecommunications Standards Institute Santander Leasing, Samsung Electronics Polska, Cosmos Corporation (Japan) or Asseco Data Systems.
During the event, speakers, debates and discussions will address issues such as:
Market changes in 2020/2021 in eID and trust services: Poland and Europe.
Review of the most important trends, taking into account two main areas: regulatory at the European Union level and users' expectations and needs. Presentations on legislative and business projects that contribute to the development of e-services in the context of the European Commission's strategic plans related to digitization, the green economy and post-pandemic recovery. The focus is on the user and defining their needs in the context of mass adoption of eID and trust services.
Practical application of trust services.
Representative examples of trust service implementations from the last 12 months. Exchange of international experiences and defining the conditions of success of such projects: from the economic and user's point of view.
The future of the digital economy.
Regulatory, technical and product trends on the eID and trust services market. Answer to the question which of them will determine the directions of development in the coming years in the areas of standardization, technology, and strategic support for business and administration.
